1. Who is responsible for the app?
The Planktovie application is provided by Planktovie SAS, 45 rue Frédéric Joliot Curie, 13013 Marseille, France. In this policy, “Planktovie”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Planktovie SAS.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information or sensitive user data through the app. The app has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry or cloud back end, and it does not request internet access.
3. NFC tag data
The app uses your Android device's NFC hardware to read, encode and verify FishGun-compatible NFC tags. Tag content is processed locally on your device and, when you choose to write a tag, stored on that physical NFC tag.
Planktovie does not receive or remotely store tag identifiers, encoded fish numbers, scan history or verification results.
4. Information stored on your device
The app may save your interface preferences, selected language and favourite fish numbers in private local storage so they remain available the next time you open the app. This information never leaves your device. You can remove it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
5. Permissions
The app requires access to NFC solely to communicate with nearby compatible tags. It does not request location, camera, contacts, microphone, files or internet permissions.
6. Data sharing, retention and security
Because we do not collect app data, we do not sell, share or retain it on our systems. Locally saved preferences remain under your control on your Android device, subject to the security measures provided by Android and your device manufacturer.
7. Children's privacy
The app is intended for professional aquarium, aquaculture and laboratory workflows and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children or from any other users.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app's features or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available at this address, with the revision date shown above.
